FESTIVAL FORMAT

FESTIVAL RULES

7 a-side Festival
The festival is TROPHY FREE.
ALL Teams play 6 matches, 3 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday.
NO SCORES will be recorded and NO POINTS will be awarded.
All the 7 a-side participants will receive a Festival medal.

11 a-side LAND O’ BURNS CUP
ALL teams will play 4 matches
8 teams will participate at each age group. Teams will be drawn into two sections of 4 teams, group matches will be played on a round robin basis.
3 pts for a win
2 pts for a score draw
1 pt for a no score draw

TEAM ENTRY FEES:
7 a-side teams
£90 per team ( 12 players per team )

11 a-side teams
£180 per team (18 players per team)

All matches will be played in accordance with the rules of the SYFA, SFA, UEFA and FIFA. Each team will receive a copy of the rules with their confirmation of entry.

PLAYING TIMES
7 a-side:

Will be dependant on the final number of teams but will be
2 x 15 minute halves.
11 a-side:
ALL Matches 2 x 25 minute halves

PROOF OF AGE
Each Manager MUST have with them at all times ID for all players registered for the festival.

PERMISSION AND INSURANCE
Each team must have permission to participate in the festival from their local and national associations, also insurance cover.

REFEREES
7 a-side & 11 a-side: Referees in membership of the SFA Referees Ayrshire, South of Scotland and other associations will officiate.

11 A-Side Teams
To avoid teams having to wait all day to play fixtures
Age 12 Development will play two games on Saturday and Two game on Sunday
Ages 13, 14, & 15’s will play Three games on Saturday and Two games on Sunday
The second game on the SUNDAY being in either the Cup, Plate or a Place Final.

Ages 16, 17 & 19’s will play Two games on Saturday and Three games on Sunday
The third game on the SUNDAY being in either the Cup, Plate or a Place Final.
7 A-Side Teams
To avoid teams having to wait all day to play fixtures
ALL ages will play Three games on the Saturday and Three games on the Sunday either
in the morning or afternoon sessions.
