Duncan alone has over 40 years experience in youth football, from running teams, organising team tours to England,
Europe, Canada and the USA, as well as serving at both local and national committee levels.
In 1975 after returning from the very first Gothia Cup in Sweden, Duncan sat down with his great friend and fellow
official the late Wallace Gemmell and talked about organising a tournament in Ayr and in 1978 the very first
Ayr International Youth Football Tournament was born.
